360° interactive virtual tours offer an extremely unique
and engaging way to present your spaces, buildings, and
objects while educating your audience. The virtual tours are just that, they allow viewers
to tour through and experience a space via a digital or
"virtual" medium. Integrated with educational content, they can be an effective tool for marketing campaigns, educational programs, research, and direct sales.

Applications & Uses:
Interactive virtual tours are ideal for a variety of applications in areas such as:
architectural environments
real estate
land surveying/planning
historical documentation
ecology/nature based exploration
medical visualization
tourism attractors through web and cdrom delivery systems
Delivery Systems:
Interactive virtual tours can be delivered in the following formats:
web - QuicktimeVR format (requires plug-in)
web - IBM Hotmedia (java based does not require plug-in)
CDROM - Standalone application Mac/PC compatible
Business Card Sized CDROM - Standalone application Mac/PC compatible
Direct Hard Drive - Standalone application Mac/PC
Integrated - Combo of web and CDROM/Hard Drive (provides template via CDROM and updates content dynamically via web)
The Process:
The virtual tours start with high resolution digital images
of your space. The images are analyzed and processed resulting
in 2D panoramic images and/or QuicktimeVR digital movies.
We shot in high resolution mode typically capturing about 18 images per panorama. These are then stitched together, photo enhanced, and adjusted for perfect clarity, color correctness, and overall quality. Once converted to a digital movie, these can then be played back and interacted with
as is, packaged for web delivery, and/or integrated into
a customized standalone multimedia program.
Educational Virtual Tours:
One of the best uses of virtual tours is for educational purposes. With our experience and technologies, we have the ability to effectively integrate educational exercises and content directly into the QuicktimeVR panoramas. For CDROM applications we use Macromedia Director to integrate educational content with the interactivity of the QuicktimeVR panormas. These are then delivered through a standalone multimedia program that is Mac/PC compatible. For web applications, we use a combination of Flash and javascript technologies to integrate content with the QuicktimeVR or IBM Hotmedia format.
